    • Employee Onboarding: Support the onboarding process, including preparing onboarding materials, setting up employee accounts, updating organisational chart and helping new team members settle in.
    • HR Administration: Help maintain employee records, manage documents and data in Personio.
    • Employee Engagement: Assist the Senior People & Culture Manager in organising team-building activities.
    • General Support: Provide administrative support to the Operations team as needed, including data entry, research, and creating reports.

    Required skills & experience

    • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
    • Strong interest in People & Culture, HR operations, and climate action.
    • Confident using Google Workspace.

    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (Personio experience is a plus).

    Desirable skills & experience

    • Prior work experience in HR or a related field.
    • Good understanding of HR processes and practices.
    • Knowledge of German employment law and HR best practices is a plus.

    • Competitive compensation packages tailored to each region.
    • Flexible work policy that allows you to work when and where you’re most productive, while balancing your studies with work.
    • Hands-on experience in a dynamic, purpose-driven organisation.
    • Team building through annual retreats to strengthen connections across the team.
    • A culture of growth with regular performance reviews and constructive feedback.
    • Commuting benefits: We cover commuting costs within Berlin to make your workday easier.
    • At Beyond Fossil Fuels, we believe diversity, equity, and inclusion are key to our success, and we are committed to fostering a culture that reflects these values.
