Join Eco Caminhos as Our Communication Coordinator/Manager!

Are you an experienced communicator looking to step away from the corporate world and contribute to something meaningful? At Eco Caminhos, we’re seeking a Communication Coordinator/Manager who shares our passion for sustainability, social inclusion, and sustainable education.

Eco Caminhos is expanding rapidly — from the construction of the Ecolibrium Permaculture School to establishing global university partnerships and launching ambitious plans to train local farmers in agroforestry while reforesting 30 hectares over the next five years. We’re making a real difference, but to amplify our impact, we need someone who can help us share our story with the world, attract more people to our mission, and drive environmental and social change in the region.

The Role

We’re looking for a dedicated female professional who can take our communication efforts to the next level, even with limited resources. You'll manage and inspire a small team of volunteers, overseeing content creation and community engagement while ensuring our message stays authentic and impactful.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with Eco Caminhos’ mission.
• Manage and mentor a team of volunteers in content creation and social media.
• Oversee social media channels, website content, and storytelling projects.
• Coordinate video creation and photo content to highlight ongoing projects.
• Build relationships with media outlets and partner organizations.
• Highlight our work in permaculture, agroforestry, and natural building.
• Help our fundraising activities.

What We’re Looking For:

• Leadership skills to manage and motivate a team of volunteers.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written).
• Strong experience in communication, social media management, and content creation.
• Skills in video production and photo storytelling are a big plus.
• A deep understanding (or eagerness to learn) about permaculture, agroforestry, and sustainability.
• Familiarity with ESG principles and the sustainability space are a plus.
• A creative mindset, ready to work with limited resources but infinite passion.
