    Impact Teen Drivers

    Impact Teen Drivers is a leading national non-profit organization dedicated to educating teens, parents, first responders, educators, health professionals, and communities about the dangers of reckless and distracted driving, as well as promoting shared roadway responsibility. We are currently accepting applications for the position of Indiana Education Outreach Manager.

    Position Overview

    The Education Outreach Manager will be responsible for actively participating in all programming operations in the state of Indiana. This role includes direct programming such as facilitation in schools and community events, coordinating events, and all outreach efforts throughout the state. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with teens and a diverse group of community members are essential for the prospective candidate. The successful candidate will provide evidence-based programming and advocacy work across Indiana and will be required to complete monthly reports and additional management tasks to meet project goals effectively. This position collaborates with diverse partners as part of a coalition for traffic safety. Under the guidance of the Executive Director, the Education Outreach Manager will identify and cultivate development and partnership opportunities throughout the state.

    Preferred Skill Set:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience working with school-based programs and teens
    • Ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders, including government officials, first responders, educators, teens, parents, healthcare professionals, media, and others
    • Self-motivated and independent, capable of accomplishing tasks with minimal oversight
    • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Superb problem-solving skills, including the ability to anticipate challenges and respond accordingly
    • Flexible and adaptable to diverse situations
    • Punctual and extremely organized in all aspects of the position
    • Proficient with computer programs, including Microsoft Office Suite
    • High energy is essential
    • Bilingual (English-Spanish) is a plus

    Additional Information:

    Some overnight travel is required. Compensation is commensurate with experience, and competitive benefits are offered. Experience working with teens and education outreach is preferred. Prior grant management experience is a plus.

    Requirements:

    • Must have reliable transportation
    • Clean driving record and background check required
