    Description

The Associate, Evaluation and Monitoring (E&M) VISTA will play a critical role in reviewing and improving current evaluation methods of Womankind client services programs. They will support the building, testing, and applying efficient evaluation frameworks in collaboration with the different program stakeholders. They will also play a crucial role in gathering, organizing, and analyzing collected data. Our Evaluation and Monitoring program seeks to develop metrics and analytics to support service improvement across all programs and facilitate the delivery of accountability reports to our funders.

The VISTA builds capacity in several key ways:

    1. Enhancing Evaluation Methods: By reviewing and improving current evaluation methods, the VISTA ensures that the organization can more effectively measure the impact of its programs. This leads to better decision-making and resource allocation
    2. Developing Evaluation Frameworks: Supporting the building, testing, and applying efficient evaluation frameworks helps create a robust system for assessing program performance. This framework can be used across various programs, enhancing overall organizational capacity.
    3. Data Management: Gathering, organizing, and analyzing data allows the organization to better understand its operations and outcomes. This data-driven approach supports continuous improvement and strategic planning.
    4. Creating Metrics and Analytics: Developing metrics and analytics provides a standardized way to measure success and identify areas for improvement. This helps set clear goals and track progress, which is essential for capacity building.
    5. Facilitating Accountability: By helping deliver accountability reports to funders, the VISTA ensures transparency and builds stakeholder trust. This can lead to increased funding and support, further enhancing the organization’s capacity to serve its clients.
    6. Collaborative Efforts: Working with different program stakeholders fosters a collaborative environment where knowledge and best practices are shared. This collective approach strengthens the organization’s ability to address complex issues and improve service delivery.

These efforts collectively enhance the organization’s ability to operate more effectively and efficiently, ultimately building its capacity to better serve its community.

      • Create a summary document regarding findings.
    • The E&M Associate will analyze and review the findings regarding the current evaluation of our programs. The program logic models, the 2024 client questionnaire, and other program surveys will be used to inform the initial approach and design of the evaluations.
      • Review each of the programs’ logic models and determine valuable data indicators from the outputs and outcomes.
      • Review the 2024 client questionnaire and suggest potential revisions
      • Draft general basic evaluation questions for the whole Client Services Department.

      • Each program may have different evaluation needs. The E&M Associate will help determine the preliminary design of these evaluations.
      • Piloting the evaluation models designed could also be done to measure their effectiveness and fine-tune any areas that need improvement.
