    Overview:

    We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and highly organized Donor Engagement Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support fundraising operations and ensure the smooth functioning of the donor engagement team’s efforts. Your primary responsibilities will include managing grant cycles and overseeing the back-end operations that are critical to the success of our fundraising initiatives. This position is key to ensuring the seamless execution of fundraising strategies and maximizing donor engagement for our coalition of entities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Grant Cycle Management
    • Grant Research & Identification: Assist in identifying new grant opportunities, potential foundations, and other funding sources.
    • Proposal Coordination: Manage the development and submission of grant proposals, ensuring all deadlines are met and requirements are followed.
    • Tracking & Reporting: Build and maintain tracking systems for all grant applications, including deadlines, reporting requirements, and funding statuses. Ensure all required reports and updates are submitted on time to funders.
    1. Development Operations & Project Management
    • Back-End Operations: Oversee the logistical aspects of development initiatives, including donor database management, tracking donations, and ensuring all data is accurate and up to date in the tracking system.
    • Project Management: Project manage towards a fundraising calendar, ensuring deadlines for donor communications, events, and reports are met.
    1. Donor Engagement & Communications
    • Drafting Support: Draft donor communications, including email outreach, regular updates, and fundraising and program collateral.
    • Donor Reporting: Collaborate with the development team to provide donors with regular updates on the impact of their contributions.
    • Event Support: Assist with the logistics and operations of fundraising events, from planning to execution.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
    • 3+ years of experience in nonprofit development, grant writing, or project management.
    • Experience managing grant applications and reporting processes.
    • Proficiency in Google Suite. Understanding of Airtable a plus.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with budget preparation and financial tracking is preferred but not required.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to work well both remotely and also in an office environment with occasional travel for events and meetings.
