Position Overview
The Director Finance and Operations is a senior management position, serving on VOC’s Leadership Team, to assure programmatic success, financial stability, and strategic positioning for the organization. This is a salaried, exempt position and reports to the CEO.
This position is a highly collaborative role in a small non-profit with an annual budget of $1.5 to $2 million and supports the areas of finance, business operations, budgeting, human resources, office administration, and IT. The position will be responsible for implementing and maintaining administrative and financial operations while providing leadership in the development and implementation of VOC’s strategic growth. This is a great role for someone with experience in finance and operations to become a part of a close-knit team and community that is mission driven.

This position is suited for a strategic, passionate, and advanced leader interested in nonprofit management, community engagement and conservation work. A successful applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience (see list below), with the necessary skillset to motivate and lead a team of professionals in developing and maintaining dynamic and sustainable programs that support environmental stewardship while advancing VOC’s commitment to inclusion.
