    Description

    The SAG-AFTRA Foundation is seeking a Grants Intake Administrator who will oversee and manage all aspects of the Foundation’s Financial Assistance applications including Emergency Financial Assistance, Disaster Relief Fund, Health Premium Assistance Fund, COBRA Assistance Fund, Catastrophic Health Fund, Senior Financial Crisis Fund, and Scholarships. This role is crucial for ensuring a streamlined application process, fostering relationships with applicants, and maintaining the integrity of our grant distribution efforts. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting the members of SAG-AFTRA through effective grant management.

    Main responsibilities include:

    • Oversee the entire grants and intake process, including receiving, reviewing eligibility, and processing applications in a timely manner.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for applicants, providing guidance and support throughout the application process.
    • Assisting non-technical applicants with online application support.
    • Providing additional resources and referring applicants to other industry assistance agencies.
    • Communication with SAG-AFTRA Pension & Health to determine eligibility.
    • Maintain and update Salesforce, the grants management database, ensuring all information is accurate and accessible.
    • Prepare and maintain detailed records of applications, decisions, and communication with applicants.
    • Assist in the evaluation process by organizing application materials and compiling reports on program performance and outcomes.
    • Prepare regular reports for leadership on application trends, funding distribution, and program effectiveness.
    • Ensure all activities adhere to legal, ethical, and Foundation guidelines.
    • Supporting fundraising activities and events as needed.

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in grants management, nonprofit administration, or a related role.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, G-Suite, and database management such as Salesforce.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
    • Knowledge of grant-making processes and compliance regulations is a plus.

    Salary/Benefits:

    $68,640 annual salary. Benefits include a 401K retirement plan; escalating vacation; paid sick, personal days, and holidays; and health benefits for employees including medical, dental, vision, flex spending accounts, employee assistance program, and life and long-term disability insurance.
