    Position Title: Recruitment and Operations Manager

    Location: Hybrid/remote

    Reports To: ElevatEd’s Executive Director

    About ElevatEd: ElevatEd is an innovative initiative designed to revolutionize early childhood Jewish education (ECJE) by recruiting, training, mentoring, and supporting over 300 new teachers in pioneering communities across North America. This visionary pilot project is a collaborative effort by the Jewish Community Centers Association of North America (JCC Association), Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA), and the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ). The pilot phase is expected to run through December 2027.

    Position Overview: As the Recruitment and Operations Manager, you will be a self-starter who excels at getting things done. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of early childhood educators, while also contributing to the smooth operation of our project. Your strong writing, facilitation, and technology skills will be essential in this impactful position.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Recruitment, Onboarding, and Retention:

    • Support ECE directors in identifying and implementing best practices for recruitment and retention
    • Coordinate with our recruitment partners to streamline processes
    • Assist ECE directors with the recruitment process, from crafting compelling job descriptions to utilizing job boards and social media for outreach.
    • Implement a welcoming onboarding experience for new educators, ensuring they feel valued and integrated into the team
    • Collaborate in the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures that foster a positive workplace culture.

    Operations:

    • Plan and coordinate travel, meetings, events, and workshops.
    • Maintain project databases and records with a focus on data integrity and accessibility.
    • Assist in tracking budgets and expense reporting to promote financial efficiency within the team.
    • Provide administrative support to the team, enhancing overall operational effectiveness.
    • Assist in the marketing and promotion of events, ensuring high participation and maximum impact.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Proven self-starter with a track record of getting things done and achieving results.
    • Strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
    • Excellent writing skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
    • Experience and comfort in teaching or training adults.
    • Proficient in technology and familiar with various platforms and tools.
    • Enjoys working in a start-up atmosphere and is passionate about making a difference in the world.
    • 3-5 years of professional experience in recruitment, administrative support, marketing, program design, or education
