    Full-time: 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, daytime business hours.

    The Refugee Employment Partnership (REP) seeks a (Spanish/English) Dual Language Case Coordinator. This is a new role. The job involves working with many aspects of a dynamic people-centered effort to help migrant job seekers find the best employment possible. REP is a small, friendly nonprofit. We are looking to increase our capacity to support the recently arrived migrants from Spanish-speaking countries. Our organization is six years old, and we are expanding our successful approach.     As the Coordinator, you will work with the Program Director on many organizational and communication tasks in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Daily responsibilities will vary and will require the ability to multitask. The job is hybrid remote/in-person.

    Main responsibilities:

    1. Cultivate relationships with employers who are friendly to the Spanish-speaking migrant job seeker
    2. Communicate by telephone, email and text with our partner refugee resettlement agencies, city shelters, employers, volunteers and clients regarding ongoing casework and job placements
    3. Recruit new volunteer career mentors from the local Spanish-speaking community
    4. Review new applicants to the program, screening them by phone or Zoom
    5. Attend meetings with new refugee applicants
    6. Find online job postings suitable for our current clients and support clients as they apply
    7. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails from program participants and the public
    8. Assist with resume preparation and the creation of LinkedIn profiles for clients
    9. Write letters and other materials in Spanish and English to support casework, marketing, and relations with volunteers and donors
    10. Update our Airtable database and CRM system to record daily actions taken on cases and for our employer development efforts
    11. Attend in-person meetings around NYC with clients, employers, agencies and volunteers
    12. Take part in our once-a-month dinner meeting, helping with setup and take down
    13. Work with volunteers and clients to arrange and make payments for English lessons and job training courses
    14. Take on other organizational tasks that may arise

    Requirements

    1. At least one year of experience coordinating or assisting a non-profit program is desired
    2. Compassion for the migrant community we serve and a passion for helping them get jobs and succeed
    3. Advanced-level spoken and written English and Spanish communication skills
    4. Skill with talking to volunteers, clients and employers to solve problems that arise with professionalism and care.
    5. Computer literacy, ability to learn new software and consistently and accurately keep digital records of interactions in a structured database
