    Description

    We Are Seeking

    A passionate Animal Keeper to care for nearly 300 animals while mentoring adults with developmental disabilities and engaging with visitors. If you have a love for animals, enjoy working with people, and thrive in a hands-on role, this is your chance to make a difference!

    About the Role

    • Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, cleaning, and enrichment
    • Maintain safety and welfare standards for animals and enclosures
    • Perform farm and attraction maintenance (e.g., fencing, gardening, cleaning)
    • Operate attractions like the miniature train and carousel
    • Mentor team members with developmental disabilities, supporting their goals
    • Collaborate to improve care practices and visitor experiences
    • Work weekends as part of a rotating schedule

    What You Bring

    • High School diploma or equivalent (relevant experience or degree preferred)
    • Knowledge of animal care and welfare best practices
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds, work outdoors in all weather, and stand or walk for long periods
    • Proficiency in English and basic computer skills
