Position Objectives: ISS-USA is seeking a Maryland-based outreach and training coordinator to lead engagement efforts with Maryland Department of Human Services (DHS) Social Services Administration (SSA). The goal of the position is to serve as a designated resource for Maryland SSA local Department of Social Services (LDSS) offices seeking assistance with cross-border case needs and building positive working relationships across the state.

Qualifications: ISS-USA seeks a flexible, outgoing and service-oriented individual interested in serving families affected by cross-border issues. 3. Collaborate with SSA stakeholders to draft guidance supporting system-involved children and adults with immigration-related issues, build relationships with local and national partner organizations, and create referral pathways for emerging case needs.
    4. Coordinate statewide technical assistance for LDSS, responding to inquiries, and supporting Intercountry Case Management staff in Maryland-referred cases.
    5. Deliver training to Maryland LDSS, track attendance and feedback, monitor knowledge acquisition, and contribute to program improvement.
    6. Prepare state reports, represent ISS-USA at relevant meetings, and support the Intercountry Program as needed, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and agency standards.
    7. Perform any other duties as requested.
