    Description

    The Center for Transnational Environmental Accountability is looking for a Consultant to support the process of finalizing the development and publishing of its website and assist, as needed, to keep it running smoothly, and performing optimally.

    About CTEA

    The Center for Transnational Environmental Accountability is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to supporting communities impacted by international investments, particularly Chinese investments. It works with partner environmental and human rights organizations, and public interest lawyers, in Africa, South America and Asia, using information disclosure laws, environmental and mining laws and regulations, international human rights laws, and climate and biodiversity policies to pursue corporate and governmental accountability. CTEA has established a Legal Fellows Project, and a Critical Minerals Accountability Alliance of NGOs, in support of its goals and to facilitate international collaboration.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Oversee the finalization and launching of CTEA’s website
    • Develop and test links, and modify existing source coding where needed
    • Repair links which are broken
    • Perform website analysis and user tests to ensure proper management of content and data systems
    • Train CTEA staff in basic content uploading and website management

    Level of Language Proficiency

    English language required. French, Spanish and/or Chinese a plus.
