Position Summary
Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Client Advocacy, Social Services is responsible for the execution of Tahirih’s delivery of social services nationwide and supervises all social services program managers. This director will work collaboratively with other program directors to lead the organizational implementation of interdisciplinary client services teams, oversee social services program standards and caseloads, ensure client-centered service delivery, facilitate best practices and cross-office ways of working and provide trauma informed supervision to the social services program managers. The Director will be a leader in Tahirih’s commitment to increasing cultural competency, humility, and equity alongside the other program directors and leadership team. This is a hybrid position but this individual must be located within commuting distance of one of our five office locations (Falls Church, VA; Atlanta, GA; Houston, TX; San Bruno, CA; or Baltimore, MD).

Annual salary and benefits: The salary range for this position is $114,400 - $135,200 and generous benefits including fully paid employee health, vision and dental insurance; a 401(k) defined contribution retirement plan; flexible work schedules; professional development including in-house training programs, staff enrichment retreats and other growth opportunities. Employees have a very generous self-managed leave benefit inclusive of vacation, sick and holidays, including an office closure the week between Christmas and New Year’s.
