Youth Center Program Director

The Alliance for Community Transformations is currently looking for a Program Director for our Ethos Youth Center. The Ethos Program Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with agency policies and funding guidelines, and evaluating program effectiveness. The Program Director is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive environment for youth, and facilitating personal growth and development through various programs and activities. This position is vital to ensuring the continued success of Ethos Youth Center and its ability to support and empower youth in the community. The Ethos Program Director will perform their duties in accordance with the Alliance’s values of confidentiality & safety, equality & respect, empowerment, personal & professional responsibility, social change through education and advocacy, and sustaining ourselves & our communities.

Major Responsibilities of the Ethos Program Director:

• Grant Management: The Ethos Program Director is responsible for managing multiple funding streams and ensuring that all grant objectives are met in accordance with funders' expectations. This includes monitoring the progress of each project or program to ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables and reports.
• Staff Supervision: Provide ongoing support, guidance, and professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills in working with youth.
• Program oversight: Provide leadership and direction for all Ethos Youth Center programs, ensuring they align with the agency’s mission and the needs of the community.
• Youth Programing implementation: Lead the design, development, and implementation of a variety of youth-focused programs and activities that promote personal growth, leadership, healthy relationships, and resilience.
• Data/reporting oversight: Develop and maintain systems for accurate data collection and reporting, ensuring all program activities and outcomes are tracked in compliance with funder requirements.
• Establish and maintain external relationships: Foster strong, collaborative relationships with external partners, such as schools, law enforcement, social service agencies, mental health providers, and community organizations.
• Represent Ethos Youth Center at community meetings, coalitions, and events to advocate for the needs of the youth and ensure the center’s visibility in the community.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equal life experience in social work, psychology, sociology, management, education or other related field preferred.
• Four years’ experience working or volunteering within a non-profit youth program, violence prevention/response or related field preferred.
