Position Title: Foundation and Corporate Relations Manager

ORGANIZATION SUMMARY
The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) is the leading peer-focused mental health organization whose mission is to “provide hope, help, support, and education to improve the lives of people living with mood disorders.” DBSA, at the national level, supports more than 400 support groups and approximately 80 local affiliate chapters. Each year, DBSA reaches more than 1.8 million individuals with support, educational resources, and tools to help individuals living with mood disorders lead productive and fulfilling lives. Additionally, through our advocacy efforts, we amplify peers’ voices and work toward systemic change in the delivery of mental health care.
DBSA offers peer-based, wellness-oriented support, empowering services, and resources, which are available when people need them, where they need them, and how they need to receive them. DBSA is available through our local support groups, the chapter network, national online support groups, Peer Specialist training courses, audio and videocasts, printed materials and mental health care facilities across America. DBSA is led by and created for individuals living with a mood disorder, and that experience informs everything that we do.

SCOPE OF ROLE
DBSA is seeking candidates for a Foundation and Corporate Relations Manager with proven success in writing and securing foundation and corporate grants and sponsorships. Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, the Manager initiates, cultivates, and sustains relationships to secure funding from a diverse portfolio including foundation grants and corporate sponsorships. Success will be measured using metrics such as the number of 1) program officer contacts 2) LOIs and proposals submitted, 3) grants and sponsorships secured, 4) revenue secured, and 5) reports submitted on time.

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $65,000-$70,000 and generous benefits including health, dental, vision, disability, 401K, and life insurance. The position will primarily work standard hours of 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, with flexible start/end times possible. Periodic evening or weekend hours may be required. Currently, this position will require 2 days (Monday & Wednesdays) in the office. The candidate may work the remaining days remotely. This policy may be reviewed and revised.
