Toxic-Free Future (TFF) is looking for a Mind the Store Program Manager to join our team! The Mind the Store Program Manager will play a leadership role in our Mind the Store program, challenging major corporations to adopt ground-breaking safer chemicals policies to reduce and eliminate dangerous chemicals and plastics and transform the marketplace to safer solutions.
As Mind the Store Program Manager, you will coordinate and execute a national inside/outside market campaign, serve as a lead analyst on the Retailer Report Card, and regularly engage with corporate leaders in sustainability. This position requires the ability to coordinate a dynamic national campaign pressuring the nation’s largest retailers, develop and execute outside campaign pressure tactics, undertake technical research, analyze and propose improvements to retailer chemical policies, manage projects, and serve as a spokesperson for the campaign to the media. The Manager will also work closely with our Senior Director of Programs and Strategy, Director of Government and Market Policy, Organizing Manager, Communications Director, Science Director, and other staff to press retailers to advance solutions that address toxic chemicals and plastics threatening the health of people and the planet.
The Mind the Store Program Manager must be able to work collaboratively across the organization’s teams and with coalition partners and have strong communication skills. The role also requires self-discipline, flexibility, creativity, a positive attitude, and the desire to lead a comprehensive campaign that advances the organization’s mission and goals.

COMPENSATION
This is a full-time, exempt position with a starting salary range of $70,000-82,000 annually. We offer a generous benefits package including employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance; monthly wellness benefit; generous vacation; paid holidays plus two personal days; and a SIMPLE IRA retirement plan with an annual employer contribution. The position can either be remote or hybrid based in Seattle, WA.
