Job Summary:
The Sr. Manager, Housing Stability is responsible for leading the United Way of King County Eviction Prevention Portfolio. The position leads our Rental Assistance and Youth Diversion Infrastructure Project (YDIP) Programs. It is responsible for stewarding programs, policies, and grants that reduce eviction, increasing access to rental assistance, and reducing racial disparities. The position has primary responsibility for the development and execution of Rental Assistance and emerging Eviction Prevention programs in the City of Seattle and greater King County. The position centers racial equity in the department’s programs and practice and with the guidance of the Director, Financial and Housing Stability.
This position provides strategic direction to two direct reports, 4+ indirect reports, an AmeriCorps member, and a portfolio of agency partners. The Sr. Manager is responsible for providing high quality, culturally relevant services to thousands of low-income people facing housing instability each year. This position works closely with the Director, local governments, philanthropic funders, and community-based organizations. It also works closely with internal stakeholders to manage grant compliance activities and ensure efficient systems for programs and staff. This position serves in a leadership role on the Ending Homelessness and Poverty team and proactively collaborates with the broader Community Services Team at United Way of King County.
Compensation:.
The pay range for this job is $83,155 - $85,343.
Essential Duties:
Program Implementation:
This position is responsible for driving service delivery outcomes across the Rental Assistance, YDIP, and homelessness prevention programs. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity to deeply engage in the operations of multiple programs.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training or experience is required.Must have five years’ progressively responsible experience in human service management with demonstrated success in program management, evaluation, project management, and racial equity work. Prior knowledge of housing instability and eviction prevention initiatives required.
