    REPORTS TO: Managing Director, Medicaid

    Improving Health Care for Every New Yorker United Hospital Fund (UHF) is dedicated to creating an effective and equitable healthcare system for all New Yorkers. UHF’s emerging new line of work, Health Equity Regional Organization (HERO), works to achieve this vision by bridging and advancing quality and equity and supporting the delivery of health-related social needs (HRSN) screening and services.

    • Enhancing care for over 7 million Medicaid members in New York.
    • Bridging quality and equity in Medicaid programs.
    • Supporting health-related social needs (HRSN) services to address barriers to care.

    About the Role:

    • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Salesforce Administrator to join our growing team. The Salesforce Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the successful utilization of Salesforce across our organization, beginning with a deployment in support of the HERO project. This role requires a strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and the ability to configure and maintain the platform to meet the evolving needs of various programs and departments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Salesforce Configuration & Customization: Configure Salesforce to meet the specific needs of various programs and departments, including the creation of custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and processes.
    • Design and implement Salesforce solutions to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.
    • User Management & Access Control: Manage user access and security within Salesforce, including the implementation and maintenance of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign-On (SSO), profiles, roles, and permissions. Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and other analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide valuable insights into business performance. Assist in data analysis and reporting to support decision-making.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the Chief Technology and Facilities Officer, and stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions. Provide ongoing support and training to users on Salesforce functionality and best practices. Collaborate with the Tableau Administrator on seamless integration of Tableau dashboards across Salesforce and associated partner communities.
    • System Maintenance & Support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce functionality and performance. Monitor system usage and identify areas for improvement. Stay abreast of Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and implement necessary updates and upgrades.
    • Best Practices & Innovation: Understand and recommend industry best practices for Salesforce administration and utilization. Continuously explore and implement innovative solutions to enhance the Salesforce platform and improve user experience.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or in a similar role.
    • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform features, including objects, fields, relationships, workflows, and security model.
    • Experience with Salesforce administration tasks, including user management, profiles, roles, and permissions.
    • Hands-on experience with Salesforce reporting and dashboarding tools.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Salesforce Administrator Certification
    • Experience with Salesforce integrations (e.g., APIs, middleware)
    • Experience with Salesforce products (such as Service Cloud, Community Cloud, and Tableau)
    • Experience with Agile development methodologies

    • This position is externally funded and continued employment is contingent upon the ongoing availability of that funding. It is anticipated to continue through at least March 31, 2027.
