    Program: Core Leadership Program (CLP)

    Location: Palestinian communities (urban, rural, and refugee camps)

    Language Requirements: Proficiency in English and Arabic

    Position Summary:

    The Educational Accompanier plays a central role in facilitating the CLP, a USAID-funded program aimed at fostering leadership, dialogue, and community engagement among Palestinian youth aged 14-17. This position requires coordination with project operations and management staff to ensure compliance with Seeds of Peace and Middle East Partnership for Peace Act (MEPPA) guidelines. The accompanier supports curriculum development, coordinates its application with other educational staff, and facilitates workshops while managing logistical and relational aspects of the program.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Workshop Facilitation and Leadership:
    • Lead interactive sessions on dialogue, identity, leadership, and conflict resolution, creating a supportive and inclusive group environment.
    • Foster relational connections among participants while modeling trauma-informed practices.
    • Curriculum Development and Coordination:
    • Co-create curriculum design and implementation with the Program Director
    • Coordinate workshop delivery with other educational accompaniers to ensure consistency and alignment with program goals.

    Logistical Coordination:

    • Schedule and organize workshops, manage participant logistics, and communicate with families and staff.
    • Ensure smooth program delivery, addressing any logistical challenges as they arise.

    Compliance and Collaboration:

    • Work closely with project operations staff to maintain compliance with USAID, Seeds of Peace, and MEPPA requirements.
    • Support reporting and evaluation processes as part of program monitoring.

    Participant Support:

    • Provide psychoeducational and emotional support to participants during workshops.
    • Guide youth in applying leadership and advocacy skills in community contexts.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, or a related field.
    • Experience in group facilitation and youth development, preferably in Palestinian communities.
    • Strong understanding of trauma-informed practices and dialogical learning.
    • Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
    • Experience coordinating logistics and managing educational programs.

    Work Schedule:

    18 days of active workshops over 6-7 months, including overnight sessions, with ongoing collaboration with the program team.
