Position summary
The Southeast Alaska Conservation Council is seeking a Mining Campaign Manager to lead vital conservation work around mining in Southeast Alaska. The Mining Campaign Manager reports to the Executive Director and is tasked with developing and executing strategic, issue-driven campaigns to protect the lands and waters of Southeast Alaska. This role works closely and collaboratively with SEACC’s campaign staff and others internally as well as partners from external organizations.

In coordination and collaboration with the SEACC team, you’ll work to further SEACC’s mission and vision in these key areas:
Development of strategic mining campaigns:
Execution of campaigns and project management:
Public outreach and organizing:
Build relationships and partnerships:
Represent SEACC publicly:

Compensation: This role is a full-time position, and the salary range for this role is between $69,000 - $76,000 with exact salary dependent upon experience.

Where you will work: SEACC’s office is located in Juneau, Alaska. The nature of this role requires the candidate to be located in Juneau. While we expect this role to work out of the SEACC office in Juneau, we do have a flexible hybrid work policy that may be utilized.
Work Travel: This role will include some required work travel to organize in communities throughout Southeast Alaska, represent SEACC at community events, and
participate in regional and statewide coalition meetings.
Desired Start Date: As soon as possible but flexible to the needs of selected candidates.
