Who We Seek
Hispanic Federation seeks a Grants and Programs Manager to support our grantmaking program and other contract-related work in the State of Connecticut. The Manager will provide support to community-based organizations, ensuring all contracted organizations are in compliance with programmatic and grantmaking standards. The Manager is charged with recruiting and assessing community-based organizations (CBOs); overseeing the fund allocation process; onboarding and training CBOs once funds are approved and disbursed; and reviewing interim and final reports from subawardees. They will serve as the main point of contact for all Connecticut-based nonprofits working with Hispanic Federation and will also serve as the logistical lead around workshops and other programmatic requirements.
A successful candidate will be highly detail-oriented, a self-starter, and able to accurately complete a range of administrative tasks necessary for successful and timely grant acquisition, distribution, and management. This position reports to, and works closely with, the team members from the HF Headquarters in New York City. At present, the position requires visits to the HF Hartford office as part of our hybrid work model.
Position Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Reports to: Senior Vice President for Strategy and Impact, other members of HF’s HQ team as needed.

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 and is commensurate with experience. Compensation includes a benefits package with medical, dental, vision and a 403 (B) retirement plan.
