    Overview

    The Bay Area Center for Faith, Work & Tech (faithworktech.org) is a Christian non-profit ministry in the San Francisco Bay Area, founded in 2024. The mission is to cultivate faith and work integration to transform people who are transforming the world.

    We are seeking a Program Manager to help execute programs in partnership with churches and design and execute programs delivered directly in the workplace. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Program Manager will offer a significant contribution to the execution of the vision of FWT.

    The role is a full-time position* involving some in-person work in the San Francisco Bay Area and remote work. Salary will be commensurate with experience – target range is $80,000-100,000 for full-time position.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Church Based Programs

    • Coordinate a series of regional church based listening tours to better understand the current activities and needs of churches in the Bay Area around faith and work integration
    • Support FWT’s partner relationships with churches
    • Coordinate the development and release of a 6-8 week church curriculum in Spring 2025
    • Coordinate the refinement and release of version 2 for the MVP curriculum in Fall 2025
    • Plan and execute events related to church based programs

    Work Based Programs

    • Manage all aspects of developing and running programs addressing the work-oriented needs and problems of unique segments of Christian professionals, including
      • Plan and execute the continuation of a human-centered design R&D process with prototype tests in early 2025 and beta test rollouts in fall 2025
      • Recruit and work with organizational partners to deliver programs
    • Work with community members and partners to raise awareness of programs and recruit participants
    • Analyze results to assess program effectiveness, and develop plans to improve programs
    • Plan and execute events related to work based programs

    Requirements

    • Three or more years of experience in program development, testing, and management, preferably with faith-based non-profit organizations
    • Experience with technology industry preferred
    • High capacity leadership, capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously
    • Is organized, detail-oriented, and high energy – must be self-directed and able to work and solve problems independently and able to multi-task and perform under stress and rapidly changing conditions
    • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
    • Strong partner relationship capabilities: ability to work with a wide variety of people
    • Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, and operationally-minded
    • Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization as it evolves and scales
    • Believes in and supports the vision, mission, and values of the organization

    Other Requirements

    • Is available to work during normal business hours as well as some evenings and weekends as programs and events require (exact working hours can be flexible; most work will be remote/not in-person)
    • Identifies as a Protestant Christian
    • Lives in San Francisco Bay Area
    • Has reliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s license and is willing to travel throughout Bay Area (mileage will be reimbursed at the standard government rate.)
    • Would consider an 80% time role (vs. full-time)
