    Description

    Summary: Articine seeks a dynamic Development & Partnerships Coordinator to drive organizational growth through educational sales, fundraising initiatives, and operational excellence. This role combines financial management, partnership development, fundraising, and program operations to expand our professional development programs within healthcare and educational institutions. The successful candidate will manage both the operational backbone of our organization and our growth initiatives, from QuickBooks and budgeting to institutional partnerships and fundraising campaigns.

    Organizational Description: Articine is an educational non-profit that believes art and medicine together can transform healthcare. Established in 2020 and proud to be LGBTQ+ and woman-founded, we exist to inspire and equip healthcare professionals with the skills and empathy necessary for delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. Through live and virtual performances, educational workshops, and innovative training programs, Articine empowers professionals to build stronger, more compassionate relationships with those they serve. We are one of the first performing arts and health nonprofits in the USA to offer Continued Medical Education (CME) and Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD) credits to the healthcare community.

    Reports To: Producing Artistic Director

    Location: Remote (with occasional, optional in-person events)

    Compensation:

    Independent Contractor (1099)

    9-month Contract: 4/1/2025 - 12/31/2025

    Base: $20/hour, 10-15 hours/week

    10% Commission on new contracts

    Position has potential for increased hours, rate and contract as the organization grows and based on performance

    Key Responsibilities:

    Sales & Business Development (30%)

    • Develop and implement sales strategies for educational programming
    • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare and educational institutions
    • Create compelling proposals and quotes for clients
    • Track sales pipeline and manage
    • Customer Relations Management

    Marketing & Communications (30%)

    • Manage social media content and engagement
    • Write and distribute quarterly newsletter
    • Create marketing materials for educational programs
    • Track marketing analytics and ROI
    • Maintain website content

    Fundraising & Development (20%)

    • Create and monitor organizational grant application tracking system
    • Develop and implement fundraising campaigns
    • Create impact reports and fundraising materials
    • Maintain donor database

    Data Analytics & Financial Management (20%)

    • Track and analyze program engagement metrics
    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
    • Manage program budgets and financial tracking
    • Create data visualization reports for board meetings
    • Maintain Quickbooks and financial records
    • Analyze market trends and competitor data

    Required Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, arts administration, or related field, or equivalent experience

    2+ years experience in educational sales, fundraising, or development

    Proven track record of meeting sales or fundraising goals

    Experience with data analysis and budget management

    Strong project management and organizational skills

    Proficiency in MailChimp, Quickbooks, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in arts education or healthcare education
    • Knowledge of arts-in-health
    • Background in nonprofit development
    • Proficiency in data analytics platforms
    • Understanding of healthcare or educational institution buying processes
    • Experience with budget forecasting and financial planning
