Compensation: Pay range $68,959-$84,810 based on experience

About the Position:
APANO is looking for an experienced, well-organized Controller to manage financial accounting across multiple program areas, dozens of funding sources including state and federal funds, and an affiliated 501c4 organization (APANO Action Fund). The Controller will work closely with the Director of Finance to implement effective and responsible financial management, analysis, and projections and lead day-to-day finance operations, including functional responsibility over accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and grants administration. The Controller will work closely with program leaders and staff to educate them regarding finance and accounting procedures and explore how the finance function can support program operations.
Our ideal candidate has experience managing fiscal controls and compliance in a non-profit setting, managing government and private grants and contracts, and has proven themselves to be thoughtful, flexible, and creative in supporting programs with a wide variety of unique needs. The Controller reports to the Director of Finance, and will supervise the Accounting & Payroll Manager.
