    Job Title: ECE Childcare Teacher (Infant/Toddler)

    Are you interested in being part of a cross-cultural, bridge-building childcare program? The South-East Asia Center (SEAC) is seeking a full-time ECE Childcare Teacher (ages 0-2).

    Job Duties:

    • Manage or assist as a co-teacher in any SEAC classroom.
    • Plan and implement small-group or whole-class educational activities during work hours.
    • Responsible for classroom clean-up, arrangement, and reorganization each day.
    • May assist with breakfast preparation as needed.
    • Read, understand, and adhere to CPS, IBoE, DCFS, ExceleRate Illinois, and SEAC standards.
    • Maintain a high level of professional responsibility and quality of work.

    Qualifications:

    • BA in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development, or a minimum of 30 semester credit hours with at least 15 in ECE or infant/toddler studies. An M.A. in ECE is preferred.
    • Six months of professional caregiving/teaching experience with infants and toddlers is preferred.
