    The RCF's primary mission is to promote, foster, and encourage the vibrancy of communities in which retailers operate by supporting efforts that advance economic health and public safety, including deterring crime that occurs in and around retail stores. The RCF engages public sector stakeholders, including state and local law enforcement and prosecutors, as well as community and social service organizations, to develop research, educational materials, and evidence needed to create and implement data-backed solutions to address retail theft and associated criminal activity.

    Job Overview:

    Reporting to the Executive Director & Sr EVP, the Manager, Retail Crime Initiatives will support the Vibrant Communities Initiative and Gift Card Fraud Prevention Alliance as well as the key external partnerships that inform the work. The ideal colleague is interested in retail crime mitigation strategies and self-motivated, can confidently interact with member companies and thrives in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple projects.

    Responsibilities:

    Presentations & Communications

    • Prepare meeting decks that simplify complex information and align with strategic objectives
    • Create structured reports, dashboards, and executive summaries to communicate project status and insights effectively
    • Manage changes and updates to key documents
    • Capture notes and distill key insights
    • Draft communications, memos, and status updates to keep stakeholders informed

    Project Coordination

    • Drive agendas for key meetings
    • Track progress against objectives, identify blockers, and support issue resolution
    • Maintain structured documentation of project updates, key decisions, and next steps

    Business Analysis

    • Proactively identify risks and anticipated points of resistance; develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns
    • Gather and synthesize data, developing a clear and concise perspective

    Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

    • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment on tasks and priorities
    • Lead partnership engagement for key stakeholders through calendar coordination, meeting and webinar logistics, and website/information management

    Desired Skills & Capabilities:

    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
    • Track record of identifying and implementing process efficiencies
    • Experience in supporting stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization and agency
    • Ability to think analytically and process information quickly, presenting it in a succinct and insightful format suitable for executives
    • Ability to translate data into actionable insights for project reporting and decision-making

    Relevant Experience:

    • 2+ years relevant work experience (e.g., business analyst, project manager, customer service / account representative)
    • 1-2 years of management consulting experience a plus
    • Retail industry experience a plus
    • Retail crime or asset protection interest/experience a plus

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • $65,000 annual salary.
