    Responsibilities:

    Strategic Collaboration and Leadership

    • Provide leadership in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support operational and strategic decisions.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment of strategic plans with financial planning, budgeting and forecasting outcomes.
    • Ensure operational efficiency while implementing financial initiatives.
    • Develop and implement strategic financial plans that align with the goals of the Foundation.
    • Serve as the primary liaison on financial matters, ensuring clear communication and alignment across the Foundation and its stakeholders.

    Financial Management and Reporting

    • Direct day-to-day financial operations and the completion of major financial deliverables, including budget preparation, financial reporting, cash flow management, and expenditure control.
    • Monitor financial performance and prepare regular financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with institutional policies, GAAP, and other regulatory requirements.
    • Develop and maintain financial reports and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders to analyze trends and identify risks and opportunities.
    • Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to optimize financial performance and resource allocation.
    • Support the preparation of grants and ensure their compliance to institution, funding source, and federal guidelines and regulations.
    • In addition to the outlined responsibilities, the Director of Finance and Administration may be required to perform other duties as assigned to support the overall mission and goals of the Foundation.

    Qualifications:

    Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.

    • Minimum of 10+ years' experience in corporate accounting function.
    • Highly motivated; Self-starter.
    • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and balance multiple priorities.
    • An innovative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to own and see projects to completion.
    • Strong ability to manage and develop junior team members.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

    Supervisory Responsibility

    This position will supervise employees

    Licenses and Certifications

    CPA strongly preferred

    Work Environment

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.

    • Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.*

    Travel

    Ability to travel to various worksites due to coverage needs is required.
