    The Account Manager, Branded Initiatives is a multi-faceted role. First and foremost, this account manager is the gatekeeper to all things marketing and the manager of all Marketing & Communications (M&C) collateral, with a hand in everything from project management to copywriter to design production to client service.

    This Account Manager is also the lead project manager for all UJA branded marketing initiatives. They are a problem-solver, relationship-builder, producer, communicator, and project manager extraordinaire, a superb self-starter who can manage up, down, and sideways. A master of details, the Account Manager executes myriad details behind the marketing efforts that support a variety of branded initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    Swag Shop Management:

    • Manage all campaigns related to UJA’s Swag Shop (in service of brand-awareness, lead-gen efforts and donor engagement). These responsibilities include developing all project timelines and managing all emails, web updates, and relevant assets
    • Serve as day-to-day contact with UJA’s Swag Shop fulfillment center as well as any outside vendors, local or international, producing and ensuring fulfillment of merchandise
    • Coordinate with all internal partners (legal, purchasing, accounts) on all aspects of business
    • Liaise with colleagues across the organization to showcase Swag Shop at various UJA events (Hamptons Trunk Show, Young Leaders events, etc.)

    Asset Management:

    • Serve as client-facing manager/first point of contact for colleagues across the department and organization on any number of initiatives
    • Manage updates with our print shop to ensure all printable materials are current.
    • Compile and aggregate various pieces of data/stats for marketing materials
    • Leads the weekly Brand & Marketing team meetings and provides critical support and agenda development for the weekly Content table.
    • Manage M&C’s virtual presence, maintaining a database of all marketing materials, ensuring every piece is accessible and up to date
    • Manage M&C’s physical presence in the building, ensuring that areas in the lobby and other floors are fully equipped with relevant public-facing materials
    • Conduct periodic audits, monitoring and tracking all marketing assets for content updates across all branded pieces

    Project Management:

    • Manage a number of large-scale marketing initiatives, from inception to completion (including High Holiday campaigns, MLK Day, and Passover, among others)
    • Serve as project manager/marketing point person for various departments on specific initiatives (i.e., staff campaigns, Human Resources, Capital, and other projects as needed), managing project plans and schedules
    • Use project management software/Workfront to process internal marketing design and digital requests.
    • Serve as the go-to on behalf of Brand & Marketing team with our legal and accounting departments to process contracts and other matters
    • Manage ongoing business updates (from UJA in Brief to internal onboarding docs)
    • Perform other duties as assigned, including drafting copy where needed.

    Design Production:

    • With direction from Creative Director, develop designs using existing branded templates for internal and external use (ads, emails, etc.)
    • Update a variety of branded materials on a regular basis
    • Assist/drive in development of PowerPoint and other branded presentations
    • Deep knowledge of photo assets / photo database

    Client Management:

    • Build relationships and engender trust and credibility among fundraising and planning colleagues as well as other stakeholders across the organization

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience; at least four years of experience.
    • Creative problem solver with flexibility to manage situations as they arise.
    • Detail-oriented, effective time manager, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
    • Resourceful and self-directed, able to work independently with minimal direction and to ask the right questions of the right people to learn on the job
    • Superb communicator, both in written and oral form
    • Demonstrates a clear ability to prioritize tasks and juggle multiple projects
    • Strong interpersonal skills and friendly demeanor in person, in writing, and on the phone/on screen; gives great email; works effectively with colleagues and internal clients (with varying personalities, styles, skills, needs, and priorities)
    • Positive work ethic; thrives in a highly collaborative environment
    • Unflappable, particularly during moments of stress
    • Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva

    Salary range for this position is $75,000 to $80,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications above.

    We offer a generous number of vacation days and have the Jewish holidays off as well. Fridays our offices close early (October to March at 3:00 pm and April to September at 4:00 pm). All so you can relax and recharge.
