    Facilitation Trainers 2025

    Position Title: Trainer – Dialogue Facilitation Training

    Reports To: Dialogue Program Director

    Overview:

    The Dialogue Facilitation Trainer will play a critical role in delivering the Dialogue Facilitation Training Program, an initiative designed to equip participants with the skills to facilitate meaningful dialogue within and between communities. The trainers will be responsible for the implementation of training modules, overseeing participant progress, and contributing to the success of a transformative learning experience.

    This program is funded by USAID under the Roots to Rise grant

    Responsibilities:

    1. Training Delivery:
      • Facilitate six days of uni-national training for Israeli and Palestinian participants every other weekend from January - February 2025.
      • Lead a -day bi-national intensive training in February 2025.
      • Supervise and provide feedback during five bi-national facilitation practicum sessions from February - April 2025.
      • Facilitate a two-day training completion session in May 2025.
    2. Curriculum Familiarization:
      • Attend a three-day "Train the Trainer" session in December 2025 to learn the Seeds of Peace dialogue curriculum and methodology.
      • Co-create, prepare for and deliver sessions on identity, privilege, power dynamics, community building, and facilitation skills.
    3. Participant Engagement:
      • Interview potential applicants and selecting participants.
      • Communicate with participants on logistical and operational matters.
      • Mentor participants, monitor their progress, and offer constructive feedback.
      • Build trust and rapport within uni-national and bi-national settings.
      • Work with the Project Manager on USAID related compliance
    4. Team Collaboration:
      • Coordinate with fellow trainers to ensure alignment in facilitation methods.
      • Partner with fellow co-facilitator to enhance participant learning.
      • Debrief with co-facilitators after each session.
    5. Program Evaluation:
      • Contribute to pre/post-training evaluations and feedback collection.

    Time Commitment:

    • Preparation: Attend the three-day “Train the Trainer” session in December 2025.
    • Facilitation: Lead 22 days of training across uni-national, bi-national, and practicum sessions from January - May 2025.
    • Evaluation: Participate in evaluation and feedback sessions from May to June 2025.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong experience in dialogue facilitation and experiential education.
    • Awareness of intersectional identities, power dynamics, and trauma-informed practices.
    • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
    • Commitment to the Seeds of Peace mission and methodology.

    This position is a contract, and payment is based on experience
