    OVERVIEW

The climate emergency is the defining challenge of our time, demanding an urgent and transformative response. The window for small, incremental action has closed; the moment for bold, emergency-level action is now.

Action for the Climate Emergency (ACE) operates at the intersection of clean energy advocacy, strategic media, and civic participation to accelerate global decarbonization. Through cutting-edge media strategies, ACE combats climate disinformation, flattens the curve of clean energy opposition, increases diverse participation in our democracy, and inspires meaningful action. Our programs engage tens of millions of people annually, mobilizing audiences that traditional climate efforts often overlook.

ACE’s dynamic and diverse team thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, united by a shared commitment to addressing the climate crisis. As we expand to meet this critical moment, we seek talented individuals eager to make an impact.

    JOB SUMMARY

The Data & Analytics Director makes decisions about which voters and members of the general public are likely to be engaged on clean economy issues and campaigns, and maintains voter file information that permits the organization to educate the public and motivate supporters to become active civic participants in an efficient manner. This position will be housed in the Campaigns Department, but will work across the entire organization to develop and oversee data and targeting related activities on issues and elections. We seek a strategic thinker who can help ACE and its sister organization, Climate Education Advocates (CEA), utilize data and analytics to engage environmentally-minded citizens (with a particular focus on under-35 years olds) across the country to build support for our strategic priorities.

The Data Director is primarily responsible for managing ACE’s program databases, CRM, targeting and analytics, while bringing the information in them together to provide breakthrough insights that will power our outreach. The Data & Analytics Director will be a key driver in imbuing a culture of learning and adjustment (both on the quantitative and qualitative sides) across all campaigns.
