The International Association of Providers of AIDS Care (IAPAC) coordinates print, online, and in-person educational activities to support medical and paraprofessionals to deliver quality, culturally responsive, and person-centered services to people living with and affected by HIV, TB, and viral hepatitis, as well as syndemic conditions. IAPAC also coordinates patient-oriented educational activities aimed at supporting informed engagement in medical and psychosocial care for HIV, TB, and viral hepatitis, including in relation to self-management.
The Associate Director of Education will support efforts to leverage relevant research and institutional data to engage subject matter experts (SMEs) in innovative instructional design efforts. Responsibilities include working with the Senior Director of Education to design curricula for CME/CE-accredited and non-accredited educational activities, evaluating the success of existing activities, overseeing the delivery of materials provided by SME faculty members, and promoting educational programs to membership, community, and stakeholders. The Association Director of Education will be expected to:
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in education, public health, and/or other relevant area of expertise, and be able to demonstrate no less than five (5) years of experience in developing and managing in-person and online CME/CE-accredited educational activities.
