Start Date: March or April, 2025
Location: Working remotely from any U.S. location
Annual Salary: $53,000
WHO WE ARE
The Environmental Voter Project is a cutting-edge, non-partisan nonprofit that leverages data analytics and behavioral science to get environmentalists to vote. Our goal is not to change the way anybody thinks about climate change or the environment; rather, our goal is to find already persuaded environmentalists who aren’t voting and then work year-round to turn them into consistent super-voters. With a national network of thousands of volunteers, EVP is achieving dramatic results across 19 US states. In 2018, The New York Times named us one of five global climate visionaries for our ground-breaking work, and in 2024 EVP canvassed, called, mailed, and sent digital ads to 4 million potential first-time climate voters.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Field Organizer will manage EVP’s multi-city door-to-door canvassing program and oversee the script-writing process for EVP’s phonebanking and canvassing campaigns. The Field Organizer will also assist with volunteer postcarding campaigns, elections research, and fundraising logistics. This position will report directly to EVP’s Organizing & Field Director, while also assisting the Executive Director and the Data & Operations Director with various aspects of their work. The Field Organizer is expected to travel approximately 4-5 times per year, each being 2-3 day trips. The whole EVP team works remotely. Some evening and weekend work is required.
