    Description

    The Coordinator, Budget Control will assist all Budget Controllers creating annual and project budgets, reviewing expense reports, coordinating revenue reporting, creating journal entries, ensuring accurate coding, and providing overall support to production units as needed.

    Responsibilities:

    • Analyze variances on the bi-weekly revenue and expense reports;
    • Substantiate and reconcile employee expenditures and expense reports;
    • Enter budget and forecast data and journal entries into the general ledger;
    • Assist production units in billing authorizations and accounts payable voucher cover sheets;
    • Run and distribute revenue and expense detail reports;
    • Update department Excel worksheets as necessary;
    • Prepare large volume journal entry uploads through Excel integrations;
    • Submit weekly invoices for contingent workforce;
    • Reconcile productions budgets vs actuals;
    • Create and update project reporting structures in financial system;
    • Other relevant duties, as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • One year of relevant experience;
    • Bachelor’s degree (or working toward a Bachelor’s degree), preferred;
    • Proficiency with Excel is necessary, as well as some knowledge of accounting software programs (Workday Financials a plus).

The hiring salary range for this position is $48,000 - $55,000. Internal equity considerations will be reviewed before making a final offer.
