Job Title: Community Recruitment Coordinator

Position Summary:
As a key member of the Recruitment and Retention Team, the Community Recruitment Coordinator plays a vital role in connecting women with opportunities by sourcing, attracting, and cultivating strong community partnerships.
This position ensures the successful identification, screening, and onboarding of qualified women for Grace Institute's training programs. Utilizing Salesforce to track progress, the Coordinator streamlines the admissions process and fosters women’s engagement and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Enrollment
- Achieve Enrollment Targets: Conductive consistent outreach and enrollment of prospective women to meet cohort and annual enrollment benchmarks.
- Sourcing and Outreach: Identify and attract qualified candidates and strategic community partnerships that align with Grace Institute’s mission.
- New Leads Development: Research and explore new recruitment opportunities across all five boroughs, focusing on high-yield community partnerships.
- Event Coordination: Host and attend recruitment events at community partner locations citywide to increase awareness and participation.
Community Partnerships
- Relationship Management: Develop, maintain, and oversee relationships with both new and existing community partners, ensuring productive collaborations documented in Salesforce.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Actively participate in team meetings and coordinate with other departments to maximize resource referrals and partnership outcomes.
Admissions and Onboarding
- Open Houses: Work alongside the Manager of Admissions and Retention the Coordinate, schedule, and conduct open houses to introduce prospective participants to the program.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and compliant Salesforce records, including participant demographics, progress notes, and supportive documentation.
Retention Support
- Collaborate with the Recruitment and Retention team members to provide retention-focused support for enrolled participants.
- Manage a caseload of 5-10 women between the ages of 25-64 from various socio-economic backgrounds and life experiences (1:1 and in groups).
- Perform well-being navigation and crisis intervention services for participants.
- Use trauma-informed and person-centric approaches, acknowledging peoples’ lived experiences and nuanced histories with encounters.
- Utilize a strength-based approach, focusing on strengths, abilities, and potential, rather than the challenges, and deficits of individuals, their families, and their communities.
Qualifications:
- 4 Years degree encouraged or equivalent experience in the nonprofit sector
- 3+ years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, or participant retention.
- Demonstrated experience in managing processes, policies, and systems for admissions and/or participant retention.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a diverse audience.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
- Proficiency with admissions software and CRM systems; familiarity with database management and reporting tools.
