Position: Marketing and Communications Associate

The Marketing and Communications Associate is a salaried, exempt position that reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications. The Marketing and Communications Associate is responsible for helping us find more entrepreneurs to serve through digital marketing, promotion of events, and engagement with partners on communications for special programs.

Essential Duties

• Communicate our messages across all direct channels frequently and effectively via digital marketing execution and management
• Coordinate and promote A4CB events and events in which the organization participates
• Create written and designed assets to promote A4CB services and special programs

Detailed Responsibilities

• In partnership with the Director of Marketing and Communications, publish content to communicate who we serve, the value we provide, and how we deliver that value effectively, through client stories, e-newsletter copy, website copy, annual report, and more
• Conduct outreach and interviews, write, and approve client stories for A4CB’s site and additional reporting needs
• Design marketing materials and creative collateral that is consistent with the A4CB brand
• Maintain the A4CB website and our presence on social media platforms
• Assist with the planning and execution of email marketing campaigns
• Maintain an editorial calendar that celebrates and promotes our clients
• Coordinate the A4CB Client Marketplace and Map
• Coordinate and promote A4CB service-focused events
• Manage email lists for client and partner communications
• Work from the A4CB office each Wednesday and on other days as agreed upon with the Director of Marketing and Communications
• Perform other duties flexibly and creatively as needs arise

The Marketing and Communications Associate should have experience in:

• Articulating clear messages for a variety of audiences
• Digital marketing (WordPress or similar platform; Mailchimp or similar platform; Social media marketing)
• Graphic design via Adobe product suite or similar platform
• Event promotion
