    Tri City Health Partnership is a dedicated, non-profit organization committed to providing medical and dental care to uninsured residents in Central Kane County. Our mission is to promote a healthy lifestyle in an environment of mutual respect. As a key member of our leadership team, reporting to the Executive Director and the Medical Director, you will play a pivotal role in making a positive impact on the lives of people in need.

    We are seeking a dynamic and professional health care clinician leader to serve as the Clinical Manager and lead the clinical operations at Tri City Health Partnership. The ideal candidate will have:

    • A passion for patient care and community health care,
    • Strong leadership skills,
    • Exceptional communication skills,
      • The majority of the patients we see at TCHP speak Spanish as their primary language, therefore the ideal candidate will also have a high level of proficiency communicating in Spanish – both orally and in writing.
    • Excellent organizational skills, and
    • Effective people skills.

    As the Clinical Manager, you’ll be responsible for working with our staff and volunteer providers to ensure the overall delivery of high-quality care to our patients. You’ll also oversee the day-to-day operations of the medical clinic, including the onsite pharmacy (note: TCHP does not keep narcotics in our onsite pharmacy), ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, and train and manage staff and volunteers. You will also engage in community outreach efforts to recruit new volunteers and patients.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Patient Care:
      • Oversee the operations supporting patient care for medical clinic patients, including:
        • Overall efficient and effective patient flow – from scheduling through to appointment and follow-up.
        • Prescription assistance programs for patients.
      • Coordinate with volunteer physicians and nurse practitioners on treatment plans and to review test and lab results and coordinate follow-up on recommended actions.
      • Collaborate with TCHP dental practice manager on cross-modality for patient care.
      • Collaborate with community partners to enhance patient care.
      • As needed, step onto the floor and provide care to patients within the scope of license.
    • Operational Leadership:
      • Manage and coordinate all aspects of the clinic's daily operations.
      • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
      • Organize and maintain onsite pharmacy.
    • Budget and Resource Management:
      • Collaborate with leadership on budgetary needs.
      • Efficiently allocate resources to optimize clinic performance.
      • Identify opportunities for cost savings and fundraising initiatives.
    • Staff and Volunteer Management:
      • Recruit, train and supervise clinic staff and volunteers.
      • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
      • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
    • Community Outreach:
      • Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to enhance outreach efforts.
      • Participate in public awareness campaigns to promote health education.
      • Represent the clinic at community events and engage with local organizations.
    • Other duties as assigned.
