    Job Type: Full-Time

    Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000 (with potential bonuses)

    The Opportunity

    HSN is seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Major Gifts and Corporate Giving to drive our fundraising efforts and cultivate meaningful relationships with corporate partners and major donors. Reporting to the CEO, this role is pivotal in generating unrestricted revenue to support HSN’s mission and ensuring the success of our donor engagement initiatives.

    Position Summary:

    Homeless Services Network (HSN) of Central Florida is committed to the vision of “Everyone making their way home.” Our mission is to lead Central Florida’s community-wide effort to end homelessness through collaboration, strategy, capacity building, and effective stewardship of knowledge and resources. The Director of Major Gifts and Corporate Giving is pivotal to advancing this mission by generating revenue through strategic donor engagement and cultivating relationships with corporate partners, major donors, and other stakeholders. This role oversees existing campaigns, develops innovative fundraising strategies, and supports HSN’s overall development efforts, including grant writing and donor communications.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the CEO, Director of Communications, and HSN’s Board to design and implement strategies for unrestricted fund development.
    • Drive revenue growth by identifying and cultivating relationships with corporate and individual donors.
    • Lead engagement opportunities tailored to corporate partners’ interests, including co-facilitating presentations with the CEO.
    • Develop and deliver compelling donor communications, including marketing materials for print, digital, and social media platforms.
    • Oversee the planning and execution of annual fundraising and awareness events in collaboration with contracted event planners.
    • Maintain accurate donor records and collaborate with the CFO to ensure proper tracking and reporting of contributions.
    • Monitor emerging practices in resource development to refine HSN’s strategies.
    • Report regularly on donor engagement activities and outcomes to the CEO and Board.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to inspire action and build strong relationships.
    • Proven ability to plan, organize, and execute fundraising campaigns and events.
    • Experience with donor databases and prospect research tools.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships with diverse stakeholders, including corporate leaders and philanthropic individuals.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with online fundraising platforms.
    • Creative and innovative thinker with the ability to generate new ideas for revenue growth.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
    • Knowledge of homelessness, poverty, housing, and human services is preferred.

    Education and Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree in Philanthropy, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field, with three (3) years of experience; OR five (5) years of equivalent experience in nonprofit fundraising and donor engagement.
