    Inclusiv is the largest network of Community Development Credit Unions (CDCUs) with a mission to promote financial inclusion in low-income communities across the country. Through our network of more than 500 community-based lenders, Inclusiv reaches more than 20 million consumers with limited incomes and residing in historically redlined communities.

    Inclusiv is seeking a Data Analyst to support Inclusiv’s work to leverage data to measure and report on the impact of community development credit unions (CDCUs) in their communities. This role supports the data reporting services that Inclusiv provides to its member credit unions as well as provides data analysis support that can inform business strategies and operations.

    Under the direction of the Director of Data Analytics, the Data Analyst will manage and analyze large datasets, create and distribute data visualizations, and contribute to the development of critical data analysis pipelines. An ideal candidate has strong programming skills in either Python or R, has experience developing meaningful data visualizations using tool such a Tableau or similar, and be committed to Inclusiv’s mission to advance financial inclusion in low-income communities.

    The ideal candidate should live within commuting distance of an Inclusiv office and be able to work on-site in the local office in compliance with Inclusiv’s hybrid work schedule (2 days in-office, 3 days remote).

    Key Responsibilities

    • Contribute to and maintain key organizational reports and dashboards, ensuring the integrity and consistency of information.
    • Support the creation, updating, and distribution of regular and ad-hoc reports to inform strategic decision-making processes.
    • Support data team and broader Inclusiv staff analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business strategies and operations.
    • Support and advise the data team with the implementation and ongoing maintenance of data tracking and reporting systems to identify opportunities to streamline data processes and enhance reporting efficiency.
    • Provide support to the data team and Senior Research Consultant with program and grant reporting analysis, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
    • Work closely with other departments to ensure data needs are met and to support cross-functional initiatives
    • Proactively identify opportunities for other teams to use data and analysis in their own decision-making or reporting

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or 2-4 years of work experience in lieu of a degree; master’s degree a plus.
    • Passion for community development and bringing technology to improving financial access to underserved communities
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn to use new data platforms and systems as well as regulatory compliance requirements.
    • Experience with Python or R in an analytical role
    • Fluency in SQL; experience contributing to data pipelines using tools such as dbt is a plus
    • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques; hands-on experience with Tableau is a plus.
    • Experience working with cloud-based analytical databases such as Snowflake;
    • Strong knowledge of data management, including data collection and cleaning, version control-based workflows using Git.
    • Excellent organizational skills and experience in organizing and prioritizing project sets based on substance, urgency, and capacity.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Familiarity with administrative data sources relevant to lending institutions or credit unions is a plus.
    • Have authorization to work in the U.S.
