    Position Overview

The Director of School Aged Programming oversees the development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the JCC's School Aged programs, including Camp EDCJCC, the After School Program and Family Engagement Programming. The Director of School Aged Programming supervises staff and works alongside a team of professional colleagues as part of the EDCJCC's program team.

This position is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned program director, or for an experienced educator (or someone in a related field) who is looking to grow into an administrative role. The ideal candidate is adaptable and multifaceted, seamlessly transitioning between being an approachable and engaging presence with children and parents, managing staff effectively, and maintaining professionalism and organization in an office setting. The ideal candidate is also energetic and motivated, with a positive can-do attitude, and a creative problem-solver who can work both independently and as part of a team as the situation dictates. The candidate should also be a self-starter, who can set goals and work toward them, and be looking to learn and grow professionally.
