    The Denver Market Manager is a key leader in driving the future growth and expansion of Lemonade Day within a large major metropolitan market. Focused on building, growing, supporting, and nurturing a sustainable regional collaboration ecosystem, this position works at a systems level to achieve educational opportunity and economic mobility for Denver Metro youth. As a mission-driven leader, the Denver Market Manager fosters meaningful relationships, infused with an entrepreneurial spirit, and supports a diversity of stakeholders and collaborates across systems to deliver transformative outcomes.

    The Denver Market Manager is responsible for overseeing program implementation, daily operations, setting performance objectives, and managing efforts to establish Lemonade Day Denver as a sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem. This position will ultimately manage recruiting, training, and support of program partners, mentors, and youth. It requires excellent organization, technological, and communication skills, the ability to work autonomously, possess experience in community coalition building, sales/fundraising, and have a willingness to provide assistance to others. Lemonade Day National is seeking an individual with extensive knowledge and experience working with community stakeholders, building robust partnerships, and activating and mobilizing volunteers. Spanish speaking is preferred, but not required.

    Led by the CEO, the national team includes 10 full-time staff. The Denver Market Manager will operate as an extension of the national staff and operate in a satellite office to drive efforts locally. While the Lemonade Day National office is in Houston, Texas, this will be a remote position, based out of Denver, Colorado. Some travel for training purposes will be a part of the job. This could include in-state and out-of-state travel as well as periodic trips to Houston. It will require driving to customers/partners within the Denver Metro Area. The position will necessitate occasional work on weekends, with the ability to adjust regular schedule to accommodate these needs, including varying start and end times depending on programmatic and event demands.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Community Program Recruitment, Onboarding, and Implementation:

    • Develops near-term and long-term strategies, goals, and objectives to establish, expand, and enhance the Lemonade Day program model to partners within the Denver Metro Area.
    • Defines and oversees projects needed to reach the organization’s regional targeted goals.
    • Develops and implements business, programmatic, marketing, and advertising plans to support the recruitment, onboarding, and implementation of community programs.
    • Develops and implements plans to recruit and train new community partners and offer ongoing support to reduce turnover and increase retention.
    • Collaborates with National fundraising team to achieve local fundraising goals and ensure compliance.
    • Drives innovation through collaboration network with entrepreneurship ecosystem builders.

    Community Program Support and Operations:

    • Creates opportunities to engage with the community and develop strategies/tactics to address local challenges while building a collective impact entrepreneurship ecosystem.
    • Supports the development and implementation of new educational programs and activities, and supporting materials, based on current trends in the industry and regional territory.
    • Manages the operations process and logistics of community stakeholders to ensure compliance with program standards and to maximize service to youth.
    • Maintains constant communication with staff, program partners, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the region and its independently operated programs.
    • Provides technical support for the various platforms used to deliver and oversee the Lemonade Day program (e.g. Salesforce, Box.com, City websites, and online store).
    • Ensures program operational activities remain organized and on time.
    • Monitors registration process and coordinates program materials and logistics with related vendors.
    • Executes marketing strategies to generate brand awareness, gain publicity, and support growth/traction.
    • Designs and organizes activities and events to build relationships and foster community.
    • Plans and executes youth contests, workshops, promotional and registration events, and other related activities to engage youth, caring adults, and community partners.

    General/Administrative Responsibilities:

    • Develops, implements, and maintains policies and procedures and quality assurance protocols.
    • Manages daily operations within a defined budget.
    • Develops methods and strategies for monitoring and evaluating the integrity of organization processes and systems.
    • Represents the brand in public settings and meeting with integrity, passion, and eloquence.
    • Remains organized, responsive, and shows persistence to set meetings and follow-up effectively.
    • Raises local funds to support program needs, as well as stewards donors for long-term retention.
    • Captures program impact and creates reports to communicate status of success and annual business results to donors, board members, and community partners.
    • Recruits and manages volunteer team of local “Lemon Council” Members to support program needs.

    Qualifications

    Education Credentials and Skills:

    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
    • Demonstrated track record of grassroots coalition building, nonprofit program coordination, and/or youth program development and management.
      • Previous experience as an educator, youth leader, or community builder is strongly preferred.
    • Ability to lead with a strategic lens, pivoting seamlessly from vision to strong execution.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive.
    • Familiarity with the following programs preferred:
      • Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop, Box.com, Canva, Drupal, PayPal, QuickBooks, Salesforce, Survey Monkey
    • Ability and willingness to learn and implement new applications/systems and establish a culture of contribution and sustainability within the local market.

    Personal Skills and Characteristics:

    • Focused on providing quality customer service and support for the coordination and seamless delivery of the Lemonade Day program across the region.
    • Strong problem-solver, highly organized with excellent follow-up and attention to detail, ability to retain and recall information quickly.
    • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team on multiple initiatives at the same time; excellent analytical and project management skills.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize work and adjust to shifting priorities.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Positive attitude and high level of integrity.
    • A strong professional presence that demonstrates skill and authenticity, thereby instilling confidence and trust in all ecosystem stakeholders.
