    Description

    ABOUT THE ROLE:

Are you passionate about driving operational excellence and creating scalable systems? Do you thrive on solving complex problems and bringing structure to organizations?

We’re looking for a Business Operations Manager (or Analyst) to partner with our CFO and transform how our “back office” operates. As a key player in our mission-driven team, you’ll ensure Founders Pledge is ready to scale efficiently, sustainably, and strategically as we grow.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll work across Finance, Risk, Impact Analytics, and Philanthropic Services to optimize processes, manage key projects, and drive alignment across teams. You’ll be the go-to problem solver, helping unblock challenges, streamline operations, and ensure critical initiatives are delivered successfully.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    Be a Strategic Partner

    • Act as the CFO’s right hand, helping prioritize and delegate tasks to ensure smooth execution of strategic goals.
    • Step into meetings and decision-making processes on behalf of the CFO when needed.
    • Coordinate the Investment Committee: facilitate meetings, manage agendas, and ensure alignment with strategic investment objectives.

    Drive Operational Excellence

    • Identify inefficiencies across teams and design solutions that improve processes and scalability.
    • Build robust systems that can support Founders Pledge’s ambitious growth plans.

    Foster Collaboration

    • Work closely with Finance, Philanthropic Services, and Impact Analytics to ensure seamless cross-team operations.
    • Unblock challenges and drive alignment to keep teams moving forward.

    Lead Key Projects

    • Own and deliver high-priority projects that align with Founders Pledge’s organizational objectives.
    • Manage timelines, stakeholder communication, and follow-through to ensure success.

    Track and Report Progress

    • Monitor deliverables across operational teams and provide regular updates to the CFO and leadership.

    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

We’re excited to hear from you if you

Have a knack for process improvement

    • Proven experience in optimizing systems and creating efficiencies.
    • Motivated by making things better and driving meaningful change.
    • Comfortable collaborating with tech stakeholders, and able to speak the language of automation and technology.
    • Experienced in project management (formal or informal), with a track record of successfully managing initiatives to completion.

Are a natural leader and collaborator

    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate across teams.
    • Skilled at holding people accountable diplomatically, including senior stakeholders.

    Communicate with clarity and confidence

    • Excellent communication skills, tailored to different audiences.
    • Comfortable managing upwards and providing clear, concise updates to leadership.

    Are data-driven and detail-oriented

    • Finance-literate and comfortable discussing accounting, reporting, and operations.
    • Organized and methodical, with a love for documenting processes that others can use.

    Thrive on autonomy and initiative

    • Proactive and decisive, with a track record of driving improvements independently.
    • Quick to spot inefficiencies and suggest practical, scalable solutions.

    Bonus Points For

    • Familiarity with AI tools and their potential to enhance operations.
    • A willingness to challenge the status quo to achieve the greater good.
