General Description:
Performs advanced senior level managerial work providing direction and guidance in strategic operations, financial planning, advocacy, membership support and daily business activities. Works with the Board of Directors to oversee strategic plans, goals and objectives and develop policies, procedures and guidelines. Grows organizational partnerships and expands membership. Coordinates and evaluates activities including but not limited to Human Resources, fund raising, advocacy, key program operations, member support, financial and or business functions. Supervises the work of other contracted staff and works under supervision of the Board of Directors, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
This is a full-time independent contractor role for approximately 40 hours per week. The position is fully remote, offering lots of flexibility and independence. The AACP is a national membership organization, and the successful candidate should have the ability to accommodate meeting times convenient for various time zones as needed. Standard working hours of 9-5 are expected, with occasional evening and weekend meetings and occasional travel required. It is noted that for the right candidate, some flexibility in working days / hours can be exercised.

We offer a competitive salary, along with a flexible, remote work environment. Salary up to $120,000commensurate with experience. FLSA status: Exempt.
