Field Canvasser

Overview

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Canvassers located in or around Ascension Parish. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with the community through door-to-door outreach efforts. Your primary goal will be to promote our initiatives, gather valuable feedback, and encourage participation in our programs. Duties

• Conduct door-to-door canvassing to engage with community members
• Communicate effectively with the public.
• Utilize strong communication skills to build rapport and trust with the public.
• Collect data and feedback from interactions to help inform future strategies.
• Answer questions regarding our initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to develop effective canvassing strategies and achieve campaign goals.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and outcomes from canvassing efforts.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills to effectively engage with diverse audiences.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a wider demographic.
• Experience in telemarketing or sales is beneficial for persuasive communication.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey messages clearly.
• Supervising experience can be advantageous for leading canvassing teams.
• Knowledge of marketing principles to effectively promote initiatives within the community.
• Willingness to conduct door-to-door outreach as part of the canvassing strategy.

Schedule

• Wednesday-Saturday, with observed Holidays off
• 10:45am-5:45pm
• 7 hour shift

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
