Are you an innovative and highly motivated assistant teacher? If so, then ECDO, Forever Harlem would like for you to join our team. We value and focus on the highest quality of education for every child enrolled at our center. The assistant teacher will work with the Lead teacher to ensure that all educational objectives are met in a safe, stimulating and state of the art environmental setting. The assistant teacher must at minimum have a high school diploma and college with early childhood education training and MUST have previous teaching experience within an early learn/head start or certified daycare educational center. High-energy individual should demonstrate the delivery and understanding of early childhood development educational techniques along with being a flexible team player. Must have the ability to follow directions and to interact with children in a nurturing, appropriate and positive manner. Requirement of clearance from the Department of Investigation, SCR State Wide Central Register Database Check and current medical are a must.

Level of Language Proficiency
As an assistant teacher effective communication is a must. Having the ability to speak Spanish is a plus as we have a bi-lingual education environment.
