    Job Summary

    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Portfolio Management Specialist to oversee the administration and maintenance of our mortgage loan portfolio. This role ensures loan files are accurate, compliant, and properly maintained. The ideal candidate will have experience in mortgage operations, loan servicing, and regulatory compliance, with strong analytical and communication skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    Loan Portfolio Management – Monitor and manage the mortgage loan portfolio, ensuring compliance with internal policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Track loan performance and identify potential risk factors.

    Post-Closing Review & Compliance – Review post-closing documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance. Maintain accurate loan records and audit trails.

    Document & File Management – Maintain and update borrower files with required post-closing, servicing, and payoff documentation. Oversee organization, scanning, and storage of mortgage loan records.

    Lien Releases & Payoff Processing – Work with title companies and institutions to process lien releases and satisfaction of mortgage documentation, ensuring timely completion.

    Borrower Communication & Servicing Partnership: Work in partnership with the servicer to effectively manage borrower accounts, address inquiries on balances, payoff requests, and repayment options, and provide guidance on delinquency solutions.

    Reporting & Data Management – Prepare and maintain mortgage loan portfolio reports, track performance metrics, and provide data analysis.

    Collections & Delinquency Management – Support collection efforts by contacting borrowers regarding past-due accounts and assisting with repayment solutions.

    Financial Coordination – Collaborate with accounting to process loan payments, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

    Regulatory & Audit Support – Assist with audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to servicing regulations. Address and resolve any documentation deficiencies.

    Other Duties as Assigned – Support additional servicing and portfolio management functions as needed.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    Experience & Knowledge – Minimum 5 years of experience in mortgage loan servicing, post-closing, or portfolio management preferred. Strong knowledge of loan documentation, lien releases, title processes, and compliance regulations. Familiarity with loan servicing software and mortgage industry platforms.

    Technical & Analytical Skills – Ability to review and verify loan documentation for accuracy and compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and loan servicing systems to generate reports and analyze data.

    Communication & Organizational Skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills for borrower interactions and internal coordination. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
