    Description

    WORK SCHEDULE: This position is full-time regular and non-exempt. The typical work schedule is Monday – Friday (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) with the flexibility of Hybrid schedule based on departmental need. May require working days, evenings, nights, and weekends or alternate work locations.

    POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Director of Finance, the Staff Accountant is an important member of the Finance & Accounting Department. The accounting team is responsible for processing Accounts Payable, managing accruals, depreciation and amortization schedules; reconciles their work to the General ledger, and ensures all entries are timely and accurately posted. The Staff Accountant’s responsibilities fall within this scope of work.

    The Staff Accountant is responsible for updating, documenting, and implementing internal control policies related to Accounts Payable. This is crucial for new hire training and requires communication and integration with several other departments as well as external providers.
