JMA is working to build powerful coalitions to fight for community benefits agreements at green and high-tech manufacturers--companies that stand to benefit from billions of dollars of public investment. We want manufacturers to make real, legally-backed commitments to communities and workers for a voice on the job, equitable hiring and training, and other needs identified by communities. We have built up a team of organizers and researchers to help us win these agreements. We seek a Research Director to help us build and refine our research program, from producing academic quality reports on companies and industries, to conducting corporate research to help us win community benefits agreements. The Research Director will develop organization-wide research methodology and train and support researchers in developing campaign strategies and materials.
