Bloomberg Associates (BA) is Bloomberg Philanthropies’ pro bono consulting service founded by Michael R. Bloomberg, the 108th Mayor of New York City and Founder of Bloomberg LP, as a philanthropic venture. We provide services to cities that help governments improve the quality of life of their citizens. BA works across nine (9) different focus areas: Cultural Assets Management, Marketing & Communications, Media and Digital Strategies, Municipal Integrity, Social Services, Sustainability, Transportation, Economic Development and Urban Planning, with teams that have deep subject matter expertise and extensive experience in municipal government.
Position Description
The Sustainability Team at Bloomberg Associates is seeking a Housing Fellow to support the team with various client city engagements. The team’s housing lead supports municipal clients across projects including but not limited to developing and advising on housing needs assessments, policy research, program development, and strategic planning.
The fellow should have baseline affordable housing expertise and an interest in sustainability to accelerate the teams work in U.S. and European cities. They should have a level of comfort with data/program analysis, desktop research, affordable housing best practices, and developing presentations.
This role will be part-time, working on average 20 hours per week. The Fellow would be on an initial 6-month contract.
