New Haven Youth Tennis and Education is a youth development organization providing academic support, tennis instruction, and enrichment through after school and summer programming to underserved students in New Haven, Connecticut.
As part of our pathway program, 9th and 10th grade students can serve as counselors in training (CITs) in our Summer Academy. For part of the day they play tennis and keep up their math and reading skills. For the rest of the day they engage in leadership activities and take on a role as a counselor, coach, or intern in the program. We seek a Program Director who can work part-time to guide and mentor these young people.
Dates: June 30-August 1 (closed July 4)
Time: Monday – Friday, 4 hours each day, potentially 10:30 am – 2:30 pm
Location: On the campus of the Hopkins School, 986 Forest Road, New Haven, CT
