We’re looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Advancement Services and Stewardship Coordinator to support our fundraising and community-building efforts. This full-time, non-exempt position is remote, with a preference for candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Reporting to the Executive Director, you'll collaborate with a dynamic team to enhance donor engagement, increase program impact, and nurture connections among youth participants and supporters.

    • Plan and execute donor events, such as the annual gala and house parties, with a focus on involving volunteers and program participants.
    • Conduct donor and prospect research to identify key engagement opportunities.
    • Support volunteers and leadership program participants in fundraising activities, ensuring they are equipped to meaningfully engage with donors.
    • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director, ensuring smooth operations for development and fundraising activities.

    Youth Coaching and Community Building

    • Coach and mentor youth at school sites, instilling values like teamwork, leadership, and belonging (no experience necessary…we can train you).
    • Work with school staff and families to create an inclusive, supportive environment through sports.
    • Foster connections between youth, mentors, and peers, helping them build lasting relationships.
    • Track participation and program outcomes, helping inform future improvements and strengthen participant connections.

What You Bring to the Table

    • 1-2 years of experience in donor stewardship, program coordination, or administrative roles.
    • Passion for building relationships and fostering connections among diverse groups.
    • Ability to juggle multiple priorities while creating an inclusive, collaborative atmosphere.
    • Proficiency in Google Suite and basic knowledge of CRM databases (training provided).
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience coaching sports or working in school-based programs is a plus.

    We’re Looking for Someone Who

    • Embraces challenges and is driven by a growth mindset.
    • Brings creativity and exceptional organizational skills to everything they do.
    • Communicates clearly and effectively, both in writing and speaking.
    • Possesses strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
    • Has experience in nonprofit fundraising and is eager to expand this portfolio.
    • Thrives in a remote work environment and can manage their time effectively.
